Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Educational Qualification

Essential:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an HEC-recognized university or a reputable foreign institution (foreign degrees must be HEC-equivalent).

Must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).


Preferred:

Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Management, or a related field.

Additional qualifications in Business Administration (MBA), Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2), or Finance will be an advantage.

Professional Experience

Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in the power sector, including:

At least 10 years of experience in Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission and grid networks.

Minimum 2 years in a senior leadership/management role (equivalent to BPS-20 or higher), demonstrating strategic decision-making and governance capabilities.

Proven track record of executing and managing large-scale power transmission projects of 132 KV and above transmission line and grid stations.

Hands-on experience with regulatory compliance, NEPRA rules, and the electricity market framework in Pakistan.

Core Competencies & Skills

Strategic leadership with the ability to drive company objectives in a challenging environment.

Strong understanding of power transmission planning, operations, and maintenance.

Expertise in project management, ensuring timely execution within budget and quality standards.

Sound knowledge of regulatory policies, including NEPRA Act, Grid Code, and relevant transmission licensing regulations.

Effective stakeholder management, including government bodies, regulatory authorities, and investors.

Strong analytical, decision-making, and risk management skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership abilities.

Preferred Certifications (if any)

Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.

ISO 9001/ISO 50001 certification for quality and energy management in power systems.

Training or certification in corporate governance and leadership.

Salary

MP-I Scale of Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Age

Maximum Age Limit is 62 years.
