Position Overview

The Services & General Administration Department, Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir, invites applications from individuals of high eminence and proven ability to lead the Kashmir Institute of Management (KIM), Muzaffarabad. KIM is a premier training institution of the Azad State of Jammu and Kashmir. The position offered is Director General (BS-20).

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Option A:

• 1st Class Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Development Studies, Public Administration, Strategic and Security Studies, or International Relations.
• 03 years of experience in Pakistan Administrative Staff College/NIPAs/NDU as Directing Staff/Chief Instructor or Director General.

Option B:

• Retired Civil Servant of AJ&K BS-21/22 from Administrative Service, Secretariat Service, or Police Service.
• OR Officers of Armed Forces not below the rank of Brigadier and equivalent, who are NDU/NMC qualified.

Terms of Appointment

The appointment will be made on the recommendations of the Board of Governors (BoG) of KIM.

• Method of Recruitment: Contract
• Duration: Initially for a term of 03 years.
• Terms & Conditions: As per Contract Policy, 2006.
• Pay & Perks: The selected candidate will be entitled to draw pay and allowances/perks and privileges equivalent to BS-20.
• Age Limit: As decided by the BoG KIM.
• Quota: Open Merit.

2. Include the following documents: CVs, attested and verified copies of degrees, transcripts, and other testimonials, attested copy of valid CNIC, and 04 recent photographs.
3. Submit the complete application package to the undersigned (Secretary, Services & General Administration Department) within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.
4. Applicants already working in Government/Semi-Government Departments must apply through the proper channel and attach a departmental NOC with their application.
5. Incomplete applications or those received after the closing date will not be entertained.
6. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
7. No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
