Job Overview

PEDO is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the position of Director (Commercial & Tariff) (BPS-19). This role is critical for managing the commercial and tariff aspects of PEDO's energy projects, ensuring financial viability and regulatory compliance. The Director will handle negotiations, contract management, and financial oversight related to energy purchase and acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

The Director (Commercial & Tariff) will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating Energy Purchase Agreements (EPAs) and Power Acquisition Contracts with CPPAG and DISCOs. Other duties include handling claims and arrears recovery, reviewing tariff models and petitions, appraising tariff-based competitive bidding, assessing financial components of feasibility studies, implementing wheeling contracts, managing end-to-end billing processes, and negotiating with federal entities. The role also involves overseeing commercial/tariff activities for public and private sector projects and attracting investments.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must be a Charted Accountant (CA), ACMA, ACA, ACCA, or hold an MBA in Finance from a HEC recognized University.

Experience Requirement:

• A minimum of twelve (12) years' experience in BPS-17 and above.
• This must include at least three (3) years' experience in BPS-18 or an equivalent position in Renewable Energy within a Government, autonomous, semi-autonomous, or private sector organization at a national or international level.

The relevant experience should cover the key responsibilities mentioned above, including expertise in EPAs, tariff management, financial analysis of energy projects, and investment mobilization.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for this position is 45 years. Age relaxation may be applicable as per PEDO regulations.
