Job Overview

Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional for the role of Director (Civil Works) under the government's approved PSDP project titled “Establishment of China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre (CPJRC) on Earth Sciences”. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing civil engineering projects.

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for the Director (Civil Works) position, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Option 1: Master's degree in Civil Engineering (18 years of education) from an HEC/PEC recognized University/College or Institute. This requires a minimum of 06 years of experience in monitoring and supervision of construction projects in any public sector University, Government Organization, Semi-Government, or autonomous body.
• Option 2: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (16 years of education) from an HEC/PEC recognized University/College or Institute. This requires a minimum of 08 years of experience in monitoring and supervision of construction projects in any public sector University, Government Organization, Semi-Government, or autonomous body.

Preferred Skills: Proficiency in Contract Management (e.g., FIDIC, PEC, PPRA rules) and experience in handling legal/regulatory requirements will be given preference.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for applicants is 55 years.
