Project Overview

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) has already been granted with Environmental approval for QUARRYING PHASE for its Rock Salt Mining Leases under Section-12 of Environmental Protection Act (2012), carried Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies. Therefore, PMDC intends to apply for Environmental approval for OPERATIONAL PHASE of the 09 Nos. of Rock Salt Leases located in Punjab.

Scope of Work

As per Condition-8 of the Environmental approval (NOC already issued for EIA) is accorded for quarrying phase of the Project. Now PMDC has to submit confirmation of compliance under Regulation-14 of IEE/EIA Regulation 2000, and submit report of compliance of Environmental Management Plan (EMP) of the Project EIA. Approval for OPERATIONAL PHASE of the project in accordance with the Regulation-13 (2) (b) and Regulation-18 of the IEE/EIA Regulations 2000 is required through Environmental Consultants.

How to Apply

Request for Proposals forms with detailed scope of work and other terms & conditions can be collected on payment of Rs. 1,500/- from PMDC Head Office Plot No. 13, Sector H-9, Islamabad during working hours i.e. 0900 hours to 1700 hours from Monday to Friday.

Interested Consultancy firms/companies/consultants preferably in mining field, registered with Tax authorities must deliver their sealed technical and financial proposals separately addressed to the undersigned through register post or drop in the tender box placed at 13 H-9, PMDC Head Office, Islamabad up to 1100 hour on 14.04.2025.

Important Information

Technical bids will be opened on the same date on 1130 hours in the presence of participants/representatives who may desire to attend the opening. Financial proposals of only technically qualified consultancy firms/companies/consultants will be opened whereas financial proposals of disqualified firms will be returned unopened. Final selection among the technically qualified firms/company/consultant will be made on least cost method of Procurement of Consultancy Services Regulation, 2010.
