Job Overview
The Finance Division of the Government of Pakistan invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Deputy Project Director (Civil) PPS-8. This is a contract-based appointment for the PSDP project focused on the modernization and up-gradation of the Pakistan Mint in Lahore. The initial contract is for two years, which may be extended until the completion of the project based on performance. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the civil engineering aspects of this important national project.Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this position:- Education: A B.Sc in Civil Engineering from a university recognized by HEC/PEC. The candidate should be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a Public Sector or other reputable organization. Out of the total experience, a minimum of 03 years must be in a Public Sector Organization.
- Age Limit: The maximum age for applicants is 50 years.
Terms & Conditions
The appointment will be governed by the following terms and conditions:- The selection will be made on merit and will be purely on a contract basis for an initial period of two years.
- The contract is extendable on a yearly basis until the project's completion, subject to performance evaluation.
- The pay package will be as per the standard defined by the Finance Division (Regulations Wing).
- The selected candidate will be required to serve at the project location in Lahore.
- The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason and can cancel the recruitment at any stage.
