The University of Sargodha is inviting applications for the position of Cook (Chef) to manage the culinary operations of its hostel mess facilities. The university is looking to fill 3 male positions and 1 female position, offering opportunities for both genders in this essential role. These positions are offered on a contractual basis under the Hostel Fund, crucial for providing quality meals to students and staff.

Qualifications and Experience

For the Cook (Chef) position, candidates must possess basic literacy skills, meaning they should be able to read and write. While no specific formal education level beyond this is strictly required, practical cooking skills are implicitly necessary for this role. The age limit for both male and female candidates is between 18 and 30 years. Preference will be given to individuals who are in good health, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate excellent character. A trial period may be part of the selection process to evaluate practical cooking abilities.

A non-refundable application processing fee of PKR 500 must be deposited, payable via a challan form which can be downloaded from https://su.edu.pk/challan/general. The complete application, along with attested copies of educational testimonials, experience certificates, and a recent passport-sized photograph, must be submitted to the Chairman, Hostel Council, University of Sargodha. The deadline for submission is June 16, 2025, by 4:00 PM. Applications received after the specified date and time will not be considered. Government and semi-government employees must apply through proper channels. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests and interviews, for which no TA/DA will be admissible.
