Job Responsibilities

As the Chief Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's internal audit function, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Your duties will include planning and executing comprehensive audit programs, evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying areas of risk, and recommending improvements to operational processes. You will also be instrumental in preparing audit reports for senior management and the board, contributing significantly to the company's financial transparency and accountability.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants (e.g., CA, ACMA, ACCA, CFA) or hold certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA). Alternatively, a Master's degree in Finance from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is acceptable. A minimum of 10 to 12 years of post-qualification experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates who possess at least 7 to 8 years of experience in the same or a relevant position within public sector companies.
