Branch Manager

Introduction

National Bank of Pakistan is seeking a talented, dedicated, and experienced professional for the position of Branch Manager (AVP) in the area of Retail Banking. The employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, which may be renewed at the discretion of the Management.

Educational and Professional Qualification

Candidates must hold a minimum Graduation or equivalent degree from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan. Candidates having a Master's degree from an HEC recognized university or institution will be preferred.

Experience Required

Applicants must have a minimum of 06 years of experience in a commercial bank, out of which at least 03 years must be as a Branch Manager, Branch Operation Manager, Relationship Manager, or in a similar role. Female Branch Managers who are on a career break (not more than 3 years) are encouraged to apply.

Other Skills, Expertise, and Knowledge Required

• Sound knowledge of branch banking and branch operations
• Complete product knowledge
• Knowledge of compliance regulations i.e. AML-CFT, SBP PRs, and international processes
• Good business acumen, goal-oriented, and result-driven
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and branch management skills
• Outstanding customer service skills and ability to communicate in both simple and technical terms

Outline of Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake responsibility for overall management of branch affairs including consumer, liabilities, and wealth management business.
• Meet with existing and new customers for deposit generation and market retail banking products.
• Ensure service delivery in the branch to the highest competitive standards and timely resolution of complaints.
• Execute and deliver the branch's annual business plan and budget aligned with the Region/Group strategy.
• Ensure branch staff is fully compliant with all AML preventions and KYC policies.
