Project Overview

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Health Department seeks applications for its Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU), tasked with upgrading Non-Teaching DHQ Hospitals. These 1-year contract positions fall under the Project Implementation Policy (PIP), prioritizing local district applicants.

Role Description

The Bio-Medical Technician (BS-16) will assist the Bio-Medical Engineer in managing, maintaining, and repairing biomedical equipment. Key duties include routine checks, minor repairs, inventory assistance, and supporting procurement processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering / Electronic Engineering.
• Experience: 1 year post-qualification experience in procurement/management of Bio-medical Equipment in the public/private sector.
• License: Must have a valid license from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.

Location Details

Vacancies exist in various DHQ Hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Applicants require a domicile from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Merged Districts, with preference for the local district domicile.

Terms and Conditions

This is a contractual appointment for one year initially (extendable). The post is project-based. Remuneration is a lump sum package per Govt. Project Policy. Only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed. Standard age relaxation rules apply.

10. Use a valid, non-ported mobile number.
11. No separate call letters will be sent for the test.
