Project Overview

The Health Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites applications for its Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU) focused on upgrading Non-Teaching DHQ Hospitals. These are contract positions (1-year initial term) under the Project Implementation Policy (PIP), with preference for local candidates.

Role Description

The Bio Medical Engineer (BS-17) will be responsible for the procurement, management, maintenance, and repair of biomedical equipment within the designated DHQ hospital. Ensuring equipment functionality, safety standards, and inventory management are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Biomedical Engineering / Electronic Engineering.
• Experience: 2 years' post-qualification experience in procurement/management of Biomedical Equipment in the public/private sector.
• License: Must possess a valid license from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.

Location Details

Positions are available in various DHQ Hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Candidates must have a domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Merged Districts, with preference given to those from the local district of the hospital.

Terms and Conditions

Appointments are contractual for one year initially, possibly extendable based on policy. These are project-specific posts. Pay is a lump sum package per Govt. Project Policy. Only shortlisted individuals are interviewed. Age relaxation applies per Govt. rules.

9. Test details via Roll No. Slip on ETEA website and SMS.
10. Provide a reliable mobile number (not ported/converted).
11. No separate test call letters.
