Organization Overview

The Sindh Indigenous and Traditional Crafts Company (SITCO) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich crafts and heritage of Sindh. They are seeking applications for positions in their Karachi and Hyderabad offices.

Role Responsibilities

The Accountant position involves managing financial records and processes. Key duties include:

• Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, accounts payable and receivable.
• Completing bank reconciliation, including verifying balances.
• Handling tax matters, including GST and Income Tax compliance.
• Utilizing accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, or ERP systems) and MS Excel effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualification: At least B.Com 1st division, preferably a Master's degree from an HEC recognized University.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of accounts experience in any reputable private limited company.
• Skills: Proficiency in preparing financial documents, bank reconciliation, knowledge of tax matters (GST, Income Tax), expertise in accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, or any ERP system), and a good command of MS Excel.
