Officer – Analytics (Og-Ii / Og-I)

Position Summary

National Bank of Pakistan seeks a skilled Analytics Officer to join its Corporate & Investment Banking division in Karachi. Reporting to the Regional Manager – Reporting & Analysis, this role focuses on data analysis, report generation, and business monitoring to support regional operations.

Core Duties

• Assist the Regional Manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, and annual returns and respond to queries.
• Prepare relevant MIS packages/reports for effective business monitoring and tracking against plans/targets assigned to business teams in the Region.
• Coordinate with other stakeholders (Compliance, Audit, Risk Management, Strategy & Business Planning Division, Analytics & Compliance Division) for report preparation.
• Monitor business targets up to the Relationship Manager level, account-wise, and unit-wise monthly for senior management.
• Facilitate the Regional corporate center and Head Office by providing important & confidential reports and presentations.
• Prepare and monitor expenses monthly in consultation with the Regional Manager - Reporting & Analysis.
• Assist the Regional Manager with admin and/or HR-related issues and coordinate with Human Resource Wing-CIBG.
• Perform any other assignments as directed by the supervisor(s).

Required Profile

• Education: Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by HEC. Candidates with a Master's degree and/or relevant certifications are preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 03 years of Banking experience, with at least 01 year specifically in data and/or information analytics and/or reporting.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Contract and Application Information

• Employment Type: This is a contractual position for three years, with the possibility of renewal based on management discretion.
