Assistant/Senior Audit Officer

Job Overview

The Finance Department, Government of Sindh, is looking for a dedicated and experienced individual for the position of Assistant/Senior Audit Officer. The role requires a strong understanding of financial accounting standards, auditing practices, and regulatory compliance. The officer will be responsible for conducting audits, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with SECCP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducting audits of financial records and statements.
• Preparing financial reports in accordance with international accounting standards.
• Ensuring compliance with SECCP regulations and other applicable laws.
• Identifying and addressing internal control weaknesses.
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve audit findings.
• Maintaining accurate records of audit activities and findings.
• Preparing financial statements with MS office.
• Assisting in the preparation of audit plans and budgets.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA/ACCA qualified or Masters in Finance/Accounting.
• Minimum 05 years audit or finance related experience in the relevant sector.
