Job Overview

National Bank of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Wing Head - DBG Strategy and Business Planning (VP / SVP) based in Karachi. The role requires driving digital banking strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and managing strategic initiatives.

Educational and Professional Qualifications

Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.
Candidates having Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business Administration / Finance / Economics / Computer Science or Information Technology and / or relevant certifications in Certified Digital Business Strategist (Digital Business Academy) and / or CFA and / or PMP and / or Certified Product Manager (AIPMM) will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 08 years of experience in Digital Banking and / or Business Strategy and / or Strategic Planning within Fintech and / or Telecom and / or Digital Banking and / or Financial Institutions, including 04 years of experience in a managerial role driving Digital Transformation and / or Business Planning Initiatives.
Experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide digital banking strategy, aligning digital initiatives with business objectives, and driving cross-functional integration across products, channels, and technology functions will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

To develop and maintain the Digital Banking Strategy Roadmap aligned with the Bank's corporate strategy, digital transformation agenda, and regulatory direction.
To lead the preparation of strategic presentations, reports, and submissions for Senior Management, the Board, and Regulators.
To prepare Board and Executive Management strategy papers, business cases, and investment proposals for strategic initiatives.
To evaluate emerging trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to proactively adapt the Bank's strategy.
To drive innovation and business transformation initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies, such as AI, Open Banking, APIs, Cloud, and Advanced Analytics.
