Programme Overview

WAPDA is launching a Paid Internship Programme designed specifically for fresh graduates across Pakistan. This initiative aims to provide young talent with a unique opportunity to gain practical experience, develop workplace skills, and learn professional ethics by working alongside highly skilled professionals in a dynamic environment at one of Pakistan's leading organizations. The programme is designed for dedicated, dynamic, self-motivated, and keen-to-learn individuals.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Fresh Graduates (Completion of degree within the last 3 years).
• Academic Record: Minimum CGPA of 2.8.
• Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 26 years.
• University Recognition: Applicants must be from HEC Recognized Universities / Concerned Boards.
• Gender: Both Male and Female graduates are encouraged to apply.

Programme Details

• Duration: 8 Weeks (2 Months).
• Stipend: Rs. 20,000 per month.
• Total Interns: 50

• Electrical/Electronic & Mechanical Engineering: 16
• Civil Engineering: 14
• Geological Engineering: 05
• Computer Sciences / Information Technology: 03
• Finance & Accounting: 05
• Human Resource Management: 05

Seat Allocation (Total 50 Seats)

• Open Quota (40%): 20 Seats
• Provincial Quota (60%): 30 Seats
• Punjab: 6 Seats
• Sindh: 6 Seats
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 6 Seats
• Gilgit Baltistan: 3 Seats
• Balochistan: 3 Seats
• Azad Kashmir: 3 Seats
• Ex FATA: 3 Seats

Application Process

1. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should submit their applications online via the Google Form link available on the WAPDA official website: www.wapda.gov.pk (in the career section).
2. The last date for submission of the online application is 14th May, 2025.
3. Applications carrying incomplete/incorrect information or received after the last date shall be summarily rejected.
4. Applications submitted by hand will NOT be entertained.
5. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
6. Original documents must be presented by the candidates at the time of the interview.
7. Candidates must have a working bank account registered in their name.

Important Notes

• Successful completion of the internship programme will NOT lead to employment at WAPDA.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
• WAPDA reserves the right to withhold/cancel the application/programme at any stage without assigning any reasons.
