Job Overview

The University of Gujrat invites applications from qualified professionals possessing the prescribed academic qualifications and relevant teaching experience in accordance with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria for engagement as visiting teachers for the Fall Semester 2026. Opportunities are available at the Hafiz Hayat Campus and Sub Campus Mandi Bahauddin across multiple faculties including Arts, Architecture, Computing, Engineering, Management, Science, and Social Sciences.

Eligibility and Terms

Eligibility and selection shall be governed by the prevailing Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria and the University of Gujrat's Statutes, Rules, Regulations, and Policies. The engagement as Visiting Faculty shall be purely temporary and semester-specific. Such engagement shall not confer any right or claim to seniority, regular appointment, contract appointment, extension of engagement, or preference/eligibility for any future position at the University. The maximum remunerative teaching workload for a Visiting Faculty member shall be twelve (12) credit hours per semester, and no remuneration shall be admissible for any workload exceeding this limit. The university will not provide office accommodation, residential accommodation, transportation, or any other fringe benefits.

Application Procedure

Applicants are required to submit their applications through the Online Job Portal of the University of Gujrat on or before 04:30 PM, August 28, 2026. Credentials including academic degrees and certificates, transcripts, experience certificates, domicile certificate, computerized national identity card (CNIC), HEC/IBCC equivalence certificate, one attested photograph, and any other relevant supporting documents must be prepared. Applications of candidates whose examination results have not been officially declared by the concerned Board/University on or before the closing date for submission of applications shall not be considered.
