Associate Professor (Architecture)

Position Overview

The University of Gujrat invites applications for the position of Associate Professor (BPS-20) in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, Design & Fine Arts (FADFA). This contract role seeks experienced academics to contribute to teaching and research.

Minimum Qualification/Experience (Option 1 - PhD Route)

• Ph.D. in Architecture Design or Architecture from a University or institution recognized by HEC.
• Registered with PCATP.
• Nine years' teaching or research experience from a university or institution recognized by HEC or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization; OR Four years post-Ph.D. teaching or research experience from a University or institution recognized by HEC or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• Ten research Publications (with at least four publications in the last five years) in HEC/PCATP recognized journals; OR recognition in at least two national or international architectural design competitions or design excellence awards.

Minimum Qualification/Experience (Option 2 - Master's/MPhil Route)

• Master's degree (Foreign) or MPhil in Architecture Design or Architecture or equivalent qualification awarded after eighteen years of education in Architecture Design from a University or institution recognized by HEC.
• Registered with PCATP.
• Ten years teaching or research experience with at least three years' experience after the Master's degree (foreign)/equivalent degree from a University or institution recognized by HEC or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• Ten research publications, with at least four publications in the last five years, in HEC/PCATP recognized journals; OR recognition in at least three national or international architectural design competitions or design excellence award.

2. Download the application form from www.uog.edu.pk.
3. Submit two complete sets including the Application Form, attested copies of Degrees/Transcripts, verified Experience Certificates, NOC (if applicable), Domicile, CNIC, and recent photos.
4. Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Body employees must apply through proper channel with NOC.
5. Private sector experience must be from SECP registered entities.
6. Part-time/Visiting/Honorary experience is not counted.
7. Deposit Rs. 1200/- (non-refundable) via the prescribed online challan form (link). Attach the original receipt.
8. Mention the post applied for on the envelope.
9. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
