Unit Manager Regulatory Reporting

Job Overview

Unit Manager - Regulatory Reporting position. Master's degree in Accounting, Business & Finance, C.A or ACCA will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate preparation, review and timely submission of all regulatory returns and reports required by SBP and other applicable regulatory authorities
• Ensure compliance with all applicable SBP regulations, circulars, notifications, instructions and reporting requirements, and monitor changes in regulatory requirements affecting the Bank
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency and integrity of regulatory data through appropriate validation, review and reconciliation with the General Ledger, Core Banking System, ERP and other relevant sources
• Coordinate with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Business, Operations, IT/ERP, BI and other relevant departments to obtain accurate and timely information required for regulatory reporting
• Maintain a comprehensive regulatory reporting calendar and ensure adherence to all prescribed reporting frequencies, deadlines, formats and submission requirements
• Maintain proper working papers, supporting schedules, documentation and audit trails for regulatory returns and ensure appropriate version and sign-off prior to submission
• Liaise with SBP and other regulatory authorities on reporting matters, including clarification of requirements, resolution of data queries and correction/resubmission of regulatory returns where required
• Coordinate and ensure timely resolution of regulatory reporting-related observations raised by SBP, Internal Audit, External Audit and other assurance functions
