Role Description

The bank invites applications for the position of Technical Analyst - CBA (OG-II / OG-I) based in Karachi, reporting to the Senior Technical Analyst. The selected candidate will provide core technical support, system configurations, and integration solutions.

Educational Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent and / or Graduation with a Master's degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent, from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.
Candidates having relevant certifications will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 03 years of experience in the field of IT, out of which 01 year of hands on experience in maintenance and / or configuration and / or deployment of Core Banking Systems and Allied Solutions.
Candidates having experience of FIS PROFILE Core Banking System will be preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Expertise in Database Technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL).
Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
Strong knowledge of VMware technology.
Good understanding of project lifecycle and documentation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Key Responsibilities

To provide ongoing technical support for users of the Core Banking System, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system functionality, performance, and integration.
To conduct solution and technical risk analysis for any change requests or new solutions related to Core Banking.
To collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements for core banking functionalities and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
To work on the integration of the Core Banking System with other systems within the organization, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
To customize and configure the Core Banking System to cater specific business needs, which may involve working with scripting languages, configuration files, or other tools provided by the Core Banking System.
To develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of the Core Banking System.
To develop and maintain technical documentation, encompassing system architecture, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
To collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, software developers, and system administrators.
To effectively perform or guide performance of application architectural design.
To engage in discussions and conflict resolution, track all deliverables, and escalate issues as needed.
To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s).
