Role Overview

National Bank of Pakistan is seeking an Application Security Analyst (OG-II / OG-I) to join the Unit Head - Application Security team in Karachi. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and mitigating cyber security weaknesses in software and mobile applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

To review architecture of business applications, identify security design level flaws & suggest their remediations.
To support & ensure Secure Software Development Life Cycle is being followed within the organization.
To perform vulnerability assessments and offensive security testing (white / grey / black box testing) of business application's infrastructure, network architecture, web applications & APIs, mobile applications (Android / iOS) and cloud environments periodically.
To review changes in application architecture / code & perform security testing SAST / DAST / IAST where applicable.
To track the application security issues, their remediation process and prepare / update MIS accordingly.
