Company Overview

Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is mandated to provide policy and technical support to the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), integrated planning of the Power Sector of Pakistan, development and implementation of strategic plans for the power sector, and to administer, monitor and evaluate the performance of Power Sector Entities under the approved policies/plans.

Role Summary

PPMC is seeking a Specialist (Global) to analyze global trends, policies, and technologies in the energy sector. This role involves providing insights and recommendations to inform national power sector strategies, ensuring alignment with international best practices and developments. The candidate must have strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g. Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Energy Systems) from an HEC-accredited institution, or a Bachelor's in Public Policy or any other relevant degree from a recognized university.
• The candidate must have 05 years of experience in a reputable national / multinational organization.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 40 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

General Terms and Application Process

The first 03 months of employment shall be on probation and thereafter shall be continued as per company policy. The selected candidates will be offered a market-based, competitive remuneration package, commensurate with their skills and experience.
