Organization Overview

The Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU), Health Department, Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, seeks applications for its 'Revamping of Non-Teaching DHQ Hospitals' project. Position is on contract for 1 year, extendable.

Position Summary

The Social Safeguard & Gender Specialist (NPP) will focus on community engagement, planning, implementation, and management of resettlement activities, addressing gender issues (gender mainstreaming, gender-based violence, women's empowerment), and managing complaints resolution/grievance redress mechanisms.

Qualification Criteria

Master's Degree or equivalent in Gender Studies, Social Sciences/ Sociology, Economics, Development Studies, or other related fields, e.g., Anthropology, Politics, Development, or Human Geography, or related field.

Experience Required

At least 5 years of experience after acquiring the required qualification, in community engagement, planning, implementation and management of resettlement activities, in gender issues (gender mainstreaming, gender based violence, women's empowerment, etc) and complaints resolution/grievance redress management. Preference given to candidates with other relevant educational qualifications and experience with foreign-funded projects.

Age Limit

Maximum up to 40 years.
