Job Overview

Capital Development Authority (CDA) invites online applications for the position of Senior Manager Nursery on a contract basis. This role (PPS-9) is essential for running the state-of-the-art CDA nursery on a commercial basis. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with strong leadership and technical skills in nursery management.

Qualification and Experience

• Education: Master's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry, Botany, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
• Preference: Candidates having a specialized degree in plant sciences, molecular biology, Biotechnology, or floriculture higher degree in the relevant field will be given preference.
• Experience: Twelve (12) years of experience in the relevant field in a responsible position equivalent to Basic Pay Scale 17 & above in Government or in an organization or firm of repute in the public or private sector.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for this position is 45 years. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per government policy.

General Information

• The post will be filled on a merit basis.
• The employee will be appointed on a contract basis for an initial period of two years, which may be extended further if required. This appointment carries no vested right for regular appointment.
• CDA has the right to cancel the advertisement or to increase/decrease the number of posts without assigning any reason.
• Candidates working in public sector departments/organizations should attach a departmental NOC.
• Only short-listed candidates who qualify as per the above criteria will be called for a test or interviews.
• No TA/DA will be admissible.
• Candidates will be required to bring original documents (Educational and Experience Certificates along with attested copies) at the time of the interview.
