The Finance Department, Government of Sindh, Economic Reform Unit, invites applications from interested Pakistani nationals for the position of Senior Financial Analyst purely on a contract basis. This is an opportunity to contribute to financial management and budget preparation processes within the provincial government.Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for:- Assisting the Fiscal & Financial Manager (FFM).
- Providing assistance in the preparation of budget for MTBF pilot departments and their sub-ordinate spending units on a multi-year format.
- Providing assistance in conducting workshops for concerned officials / DDOs of MTBF line departments for the preparation of MTBF budget proposals.
- Preparing MTBF Budget Statements.
- Providing hands-on support to concerned officials /DDOs of MTBF line departments.
- Analyzing the budgetary data of MTBF line departments.
- Providing assistance to ERU, Finance Department for consolidating MTBF departments' budget.
- Supervising the team of Financial Analysts for completing the assigned task.
- Providing assistance to Fiscal & Financial Manager for completing any other assigned task.
Qualification & Experience
- Masters in Commerce / Economics / Business Administration (Finance) or equivalent from an HEC recognized University.
- A minimum of 4 years professional experience gained in public/private sector; Job relevant experience will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Having report writing skills and ability to communicate.
- Computer Literate (MS Office) MS Excel (Advance Level) Proficient for Data Analysis and reporting.
Age Limit
Not exceeding 35 years.General Instructions and Application Process
- The appointment will be purely on a contract basis initially for a period of (02) two years which is further extendable on an annual basis subject to satisfactory performance.
- Applicants must have Domicile/PRC (Form 'D') of Sindh Province.
- Competitive market-based salary packages would be offered to the successful candidate.
- Applicant (s) already in service, should apply through proper channel with NOC from the competent authority of their present organization(s).
- Only shortlisted applicants shall be called to appear in written test/interview and no T.A / D.A will be admissible in any case.
