Introduction
The Finance Department, Government of Sindh, is seeking applications from interested candidates domiciled in Sindh province for the following position on a contract basis for an initial period of three (03) years.Position Details
Post Title: Financial Analyst / Research Reform Unit (One Post)Contract Duration: Initially for 03 years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.
Domicile: Sindh Province
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Master's degree in Economics or a related field from an HEC recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of five (05) years of experience in a relevant field. Experience related to Public Finance Management (PFM), research, policy formulation, monitoring & evaluation, or data analysis will be advantageous.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical, research, and effective report writing skills and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, etc.) and statistical software applications.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in Urdu, Sindhi, and English are mandatory.
- Ability to collaborate with technical consultants for research quality control.
- Capability to draft terms of reference (TORs) related to research, prepare TORs for engaging consultants/firms for research studies/assessments, and review reports submitted by consultants/departments.
- Knowledge of preparing/analyzing research proposals/reports for budget book preparation.

Important Notes
- The appointment is purely contractual for an initial period of 03 years, potentially extendable based on performance evaluation.
