Senior Engineer

About the Role

The Senior Engineer will be a vital technical asset to the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the Punjab Development Program, which is focused on improving urban infrastructure, particularly sewerage and storm water drainage systems, in 8 cities across Punjab. This role involves providing specialized engineering expertise, overseeing design and construction aspects, and ensuring the technical integrity and quality of project implementation. The Senior Engineer will play a key role in achieving the program's infrastructure goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert engineering input for the meticulous design, strategic planning, and efficient execution of sewerage and storm water drainage projects.
• Supervise and monitor construction activities closely to ensure strict adherence to engineering standards, specifications, and timelines.
• Conduct thorough technical evaluations, detailed site inspections, and robust quality assurance checks.
• Resolve complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions to project-related engineering challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a BE/BSc degree in Civil Engineering from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university. A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience in civil engineering projects, especially related to water and sanitation infrastructure, is required. The maximum age limit for this position is 45 years, seeking experienced and capable engineers.
