Job Overview

Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture, Multan has announced a vacancy for a Research Associate for the PARB funded Project No. 22-488 titled: "Agronomic Interventions and Postharvest Value Addition to Promote Millets for Crop Diversification, Nutritional Security and Climate Smart Agriculture". This position is offered on a contract basis, initially for one year but extendable subject to satisfactory performance.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Characterization of proso millet genotypes
• Laboratory trials and analyses
• Field research, data collection, compilation, and analysis
• Report writing and other project related activities
• Organizing farmer days and trainings
• Collaboration with project partners and record keeping
