Job Overview

The Researcher will be responsible for conducting primary and secondary research to collect data for market analysis. The candidate will analyze data and prepare reports using various tools, including Excel, SPSS, and other statistical software/applications. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze research data and addressing research inquiries to provide timely insights. Knowledge and skills in market research principles, strong analytical skills, and experience in latest data gathering techniques are essential.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this post entail:

• Conduct primary and secondary research to collect data for market analysis
• Analyze data and prepare reports using various tools, including Excel, SPSS, and other statistical software/applications.
• Participate in the development of sector-specific research methodologies and processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze research data
• Conduct background research to support the development of competition strategies and policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute research projects.
• Addressing research inquiries and providing timely and insightful responses.
• Proactively monitoring ongoing projects, identifying areas for improvement
• Assist in the preparation of presentations, and other documentation required for formal enquiries and regulatory hearings/proceedings.
• Any other task assigned by the Competent Authority.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should possess a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Law, or Business-related discipline from an HEC recognized local or foreign University. This position mandates a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. He/She should have local experience and expertise in market research principles, strong analytical skills, and experience in the latest data gathering techniques with excellent English market communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis software. Statistical analysis applications will be an added advantage. The age limit for this position is 28-38 years. A general age relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit would be granted as admissible under the rules.
