Project Overview

Applications are invited for one full-time position of Research Associate at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi. The position is under a Punjab Agriculture Research Board (PARB) funded project (PARB 22-288) titled, 'Pilot Scale production of cow-side and Benchtop Immuno-magnetic diagnostic tool for bovine mastitis'. This is a great opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge research initiative in veterinary sciences.

Qualifications and Experience

The eligibility criteria for the Research Associate position are as follows:

• Education: An M.Phil in Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Clinical Studies, or a related discipline is required. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) must be the basic degree.
• Experience: Preference will be given to candidates who have relevant experience in the field.

Salary and Contract Details

The selected candidate will be offered:

• Salary: A pay package of Rs 75,000/- per month, with a 7% annual increment.
• Contract Duration: The appointment will be on a contract basis for one year initially. It is extendable on a yearly basis for the project period (up to 30-09-2027) based on satisfactory annual performance as appraised by the project manager.
