Qualification / Eligibility Criteria

• In the 1st instance, those candidates will be considered who meet the HEC criteria for the post of Professor (BPS-21) and the candidate selected among them will be appointed as Director (BPS-21).
• In case no candidate is found eligible/suitable for appointment as Director (BPS-21), then those candidates will be considered who meet HEC criteria for the post of Associate Professor (BPS-20) and the candidate selected among them will be appointed as Director (BPS-20).
• The post of Director would be in BPS-20/21. However, once appointed as Director, being the administrative post, the candidate may not be allowed to apply for TTS faculty.
• Eligibility criteria for the post of Professor and Associate Professor are available on the HEC website: All Disciplines Excluding Engineering IT, Medical, Law and Arts and Design: (https://hec.gov.pk/english/services/universities/QA/Pages/Faculty-Appointment-Criteria.aspx).

Requirements

• Complete application along with required documents can be submitted personally or by post in Room # 31 of Establishment Section. Last date for form submission is Friday, 25th April 2025.
• The Application Processing fee Rs. 2500/- (NON-REFUNDABLE) in shape of Bank Challan/ or draft in favor of the Treasurer, University of Balochistan, must be deposited for each application.
• Challan can be deposited in HBL, University Branch, Quetta.
• CV, copies of Experience Certificates and Educational Documents (duly attested) must be attached with the application form.
• Applicants already in service must apply through proper channel along with NOC issued by their parent departments by due date otherwise their applications will not be entertained.
• Incomplete applications or received after due date, fulfilling the minimum criteria or without processing fee will not be entertained in any case.
• Selection Board for eligible candidates will be held in University of Balochistan and No TA/DA is admissible.
