Job Overview

National Bank of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Project Manager - Enterprise (AVP) based in Karachi. The role requires an experienced IT professional to manage enterprise-level projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

To plan, execute, and work on closure of IT projects within the Bank, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance and Bank's Project Management Framework.
To collaborate with stakeholders to articulate comprehensive project requirements, identifying constraints, risks, and assumptions to define project deliverables.
To create essential project documentation, including work breakdown structures, project organization charts, communication plans, risk plans, and cost / resource plans.
To monitor and track project progress to guarantee alignment with established goals and objectives.
To foster effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
To implement risk management strategies, addressing potential issues proactively and ensuring project success.
To develop and maintain a project schedule, identifying critical milestones and dependencies to facilitate successful project execution.

Qualification and Requirements

Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent and / or Graduation with a Master's degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.
Experience: Minimum 06 years of experience in IT Project Management, out of which at least 03 years of experience in managing IT projects, related to banking applications.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and data structures. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Project, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
