Job Overview

The Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting research, and providing leadership in their respective department. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the academic environment of the college and to the professional development of students.

Responsibilities

The Professor will be responsible for the following duties:
• Delivering lectures, seminars, and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Developing and updating curriculum materials.
• Supervising student research projects.
• Conducting original research and publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Participating in departmental and college committees.
• Mentoring junior faculty members.
• Contributing to the overall academic environment of the college.

Department

Contract Basis: Anatomy (1), Pathology (1), Histopathology or Hematology (1), Community Medicine (1), Pharmacology (1), ENT (1), Radiology (1)
Department of Health (DoH): Gynae/Obs (1), Pediatrics (1)

Pay Package

Contract: PKR 4,25,000/M
DOH: Teaching Allowance will be paid subject to budgetary provision

• Valid PMC/PM&DC registration certificate.
• Copy of CNIC.
• Domicile certificate.
• PRC (if applicable).

For Department of Health Candidates Only:
• Applicants from DoH or those already working in teaching hospitals of the medical college will process their applications through proper channel along with all documents mentioned above and will be entertained after the approval of Secretary Health Govt. of AJK. Direct application will not be entertained.
• Selected DoH employees will draw their salary against their respective/substantive post of DoH. However, they may be entertained for teaching allowance as per budgetary provision/policy/approval of GoAJK.
