Job Overview

As an Assistant Professor, you will play a crucial role in teaching and mentoring medical students, conducting research, and providing clinical services. This position requires a commitment to academic excellence and the ability to contribute to the overall development of the medical college.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:
• Conducting lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
• Contributing to curriculum development and assessment.
• Supervising student research projects.
• Participating in departmental meetings and college committees.
• Providing clinical services and patient care as required.

Departments

• Contract Basis: Anatomy or Pharmacology or Community Medicine (1)
• Department of Health (DoH): Gynae/Obs (1), Anesthesia (1), Accident & Emergency (1)

Pay Package

• Contract: PKR 2,25,000/M
• DOH: Teaching Allowance will be paid subject to budgetary provision

Qualifications

As per PMC Criteria/AJK Service Rules.

Note for DoH Candidates:
Those currently working in DoH or teaching hospitals must apply through the proper channel, with approval from the Secretary Health Govt. of AJK. Direct applications will not be considered. Selected DoH employees will draw their salary against their existing posts; however, they may receive a teaching allowance as per budgetary provision/policy/approval of GoAJK.
