Job Overview

Applications are invited for the position of Procurement Officer (PPS-7) at the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination for the National Health Support Project (NHSP). This is a contract-based role, initially for 1 year up to 30th June, 2026, with the possibility of extension. The position offers a market-based salary and is located in Islamabad. One post is available.

Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Officer will manage all aspects of the procurement process and logistics management. Key duties include:
  • Overseeing procurement activities in accordance with established policies.
  • Managing logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Preferably working with NGOs/Donors.
  • Experience with USAID funded projects is a plus.

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for the Procurement Officer position, candidates must have:
  • Education: Master's / An advanced degree (16 years of education) in a suitable discipline or field of study, preferably in Business studies, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Commerce etc., from an HEC recognized University.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of work experience in the field of procurement with knowledge and experience in all aspects of the procurement process and logistics management. Experience with NGOs/Donors is preferred, and experience with USAID funded projects will be an advantage.
