Program Overview
The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Government of Pakistan, has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the 'Crisis Resilient Social Protection (CRISP) Program'. BISP intends to apply part of the proceeds for engaging Individual Consultant Services for various positions, including the Procurement Associate.Role and Responsibilities
The Procurement Associate will support procurement activities under the CRISP program, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. This includes handling procurement processes, documentation, and maintaining integrity and confidentiality.Qualifications and Experience
Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is desirable.Experience: At least 4 to 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within development organizations, government, or donor-funded projects. Knowledge of national and international procurement regulations, including World Bank, ADB, or UN procurement guidelines is required. Must possess strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications is necessary. A high level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality is expected.

Applicants need to fill the prescribed “Online Application Form” available on the website and upload their detailed/updated CV.The last date to apply for the Post is 17th May, 2025. A consultant shall be selected in accordance with the method contained in Section VII, paragraphs 7.36 and 7.37 of the “World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, July 2016 [Revised November 2017 and August 2018].
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. T.A./D.A shall not be admissible.
Remuneration would be negotiable commensurating to qualification and experience of the candidate.
