Training Program Overview

Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi, a leading tertiary care hospital, invites applications from dedicated medical graduates for its Four Years FCPS Training Program (Level-I) in various Surgery and Allied disciplines. This program is designed to develop highly skilled specialists. Note that selected candidates for the overall program (PEMH/CMH) may be placed in either hospital based on the selection board's decision.

The Four Years FCPS Training Level-I program at CMH Rawalpindi includes:

• Anaesthesia
• ENT
• General Surgery (04 Years)
• Gynae & Obs

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

• MBBS degree from a PMDC recognized institution.
• Valid PMDC registration.
• Completion of a one-year House Job.
• Passed FCPS Part-I examination in the concerned discipline.

Preference for selection will be given to Government sponsored candidates.

Application Process

1. Application Form: Application Forms can be obtained from the Training Office, CMH Rawalpindi (Basement Officers Tower), from 0800-1500 hours.
2. Submission: Duly completed applications with all attested documents (hard copies) should reach the Training Office, CMH Rawalpindi by 23 June 2025 (till 1500 hours).
3. Required Documents:

• CVP (Curriculum Vitae) with passport-size photographs.
• One copy of CNIC.
• MBBS Degree.
• Transcript / Attempt Certificate for all professionals (MBBS).
• DMCs - MBBS (all professionals).
• Valid PMDC registration certificate.
• House Job (01 Year) Certificate.
• CPSP Letter of Congratulation (FCPS Part-I).
• Experience Certificate over and above House Job (if any, minimum 1 year).
• Application addressed to Commandant CMH Rawalpindi (Typed/Printed/Hand Written).
• Proof of Publication (if any).
• Evidence of Best Graduate & ward of Armed Forces/ Shaheed/ War Wounded (if applicable).
• Ward of army Personnel (Documentary Proof, if applicable).
• Ward of shaheed & retired Personnel (Pension Book, if applicable).
• Character Certificate (from Medical College/Hospital).
• NOC from respective government department (in case of government employee only).
• Copy of Domicile.

4. Processing Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- is required. Submit the original deposit slip for Account No. 0001901000000717 (Private Fund Account, Askari Bank, CMH Branch Rawalpindi).
5. Important Notes:

• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
• No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.
• All original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
• The Commandant CMH Rawalpindi may terminate training due to unsatisfactory performance, inefficiency, disciplinary actions, or patient negligence.
• Trainees sponsored by organizations/departments (other than government) will not receive a stipend from the hospital and must provide an NOC, monthly pay slips, and appointment letter from their sponsoring department.
