Contingent Paid Skilled Staff (Entomologist)

Role Overview

The Directorate General Health Services Punjab, through the District Health Authority Rawalpindi, is hiring temporary skilled staff (Entomologists) on a contingent paid basis for the anti-dengue Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) program in District Rawalpindi. The hiring is under the New HR Model for a period not exceeding 89 days. Selected candidates will work within the district as required.

Qualifications

Required Education: M.Sc (Zoology) / B.Sc (Entomology / Agriculture Entomology) 2nd division from an HEC recognized institution.
Preference: Candidates holding M.Sc (Zoology / Agriculture Entomology / Biology / Entomology) 2nd division or B.Sc (Entomology) 2nd division from an HEC recognized institution will be preferred.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: 25 to 35 years (Male/Female).
• Domicile: Must possess a domicile of District Rawalpindi. Preference will be given to candidates from Rawalpindi.
• Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in relevant fieldwork.
• Skills: Must own and be proficient in using an Android smartphone.
• Fitness: Must be physically fit for fieldwork.
• Availability: Must be willing to work anywhere within District Rawalpindi.

Walk-in Interview Details

Interested and eligible candidates (Male/Female) are required to appear for a walk-in interview.
Date: Wednesday, 14 May 2025
Time: 10:00 AM onwards
Venue: District Health Complex, Main Rawalpindi Road, Sector 4-B, Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Rawalpindi.

• Domicile Certificate
• Educational Certificates
• Experience Certificates (if any)
• Two recent passport-size photographs
