Pathologist (Specialist) (NPP)

Project Overview

Applications are invited by the Health Department, Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for its Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU) undertaking the Revamping of Non-Teaching DHQ Hospitals. The posts are contract-based (1 year initially, extendable) under the Project Implementation Policy (PIP).

Role Description

The Pathologist (Specialist) (NPP - Negotiated Pay Package) will provide expert pathology services and consultation as part of the hospital revamping project. This may involve setting up or upgrading pathology labs, ensuring quality standards in diagnostics, and potentially training staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: MBBS & FCPS/MCPS in Pathology.
• Experience: 3 years relevant experience (inferred from structure, explicit duration not stated but listed under a minimum 3 years requirement for QA Specialist).
• Age Limit: Maximum up to 50 years.

Location Details

Role associated with the PMIU and potentially specific DHQ hospitals involved in the project. Requires domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Merged Districts.
