Emergency Care Unit Specialists (NPP)

Role Overview

The Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU) of the Health Department, Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is hiring Emergency Care Unit Specialists on a contractual basis. The initial contract period is for 1 year, extendable based on project needs and performance, under the Project Implementation Policy (PIP). These specialists will be posted in designated District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as part of the 'Revamping of Non-Teaching DHQ Hospitals' project.

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess:

• FCPS A&E / FCPS Med & Allied / FCPS Surgery & Allied qualification.
• Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) / Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
• A minimum of two (02) years of work experience in a teaching hospital or a DHQ hospital post-qualification.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants is 50 years. Standard age relaxation rules as per government policy may apply.

Location

Positions are available in multiple DHQ Hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However, please note that positions for this specific role are *not* available in DHQH Charsadda, DHQH Karak, DHQH Abbottabad, DHQH Haripur, Molvi Ameer Shah Memorial Hospital (Peshawar), and Govt. Naseerullah Khan Babar (Memorial) Hospital (Peshawar). Preference may be given to candidates holding domicile of the relevant district.

Application Process

1. Interested candidates must apply online via the ETEA website: www.etea.edu.pk.
2. Online application forms will be available starting from 23-04-2025.
3. Create a profile on the ETEA website. CNIC verification through a NADRA E-Sahulat franchise is mandatory before applying.
4. After successfully submitting the online application, generate the prescribed online deposit slip.
5. Pay the non-refundable test fee using the deposit slip through Easy-paisa, Jazz Cash, or at any UBL branch via UBL OMNI.
6. Retain the original stamped candidate's copy of the deposit slip. Do not send documents to ETEA at this stage.
7. The deadline for online application submission is 09 May, 2025.
8. Screening test details (date, time, venue) will be communicated via SMS and Roll No. Slips downloadable from the ETEA website.
9. Ensure you provide a non-converted/non-ported mobile number for communication.
10. Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications and fees for each.

Terms and Conditions

Appointment will be purely on a contract basis, initially for one year, extendable as per project policy. The post is project-based and temporary. A lump-sum pay package will be offered as per Government Project Policy. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Government employees should apply through the proper channel. Original documents are required at the time of the interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
