Role Overview
Applications are invited by the Health & Population Department, Government of the Punjab, for 220 positions of Monitoring Assistant (PPS-04). These roles are on a contract basis within the Development Project 'Directorate of Provincial Healthcare Service Monitoring & Evaluation System'. The position involves field-based monitoring, data collection, and requires knowledge of IT equipment. Candidates can specify up to two district preferences for posting.Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Monitoring Assistant (PPS-04) role:Educational Qualification and Experience
- Graduation (14 years) with at least Second Division and one year of verifiable experience in survey/data collection from a recognized organization.
- OR
- Ex-serviceman having at least 1 year of experience working in the health/education sector in data collection/survey.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for applicants is 50 years. Age calculation will be based on the application submission deadline.Mandatory Requirements
- The candidate must possess working knowledge of IT equipment such as tablets and computers.
- A valid Driving License for a Motorbike is mandatory for this post.
General Terms and Conditions
- The appointment will be on a contract basis as per the Recruitment Policy 2022 of the Government of the Punjab.
- Applicants must hold a domicile of Punjab.
- Provincial quotas for women, minorities, and special persons will be observed. Disabled candidates need to provide proof of registration from the Social Welfare Department and a Disability Certificate.
- Transgender individuals are encouraged to apply.
- Vacancies are post-specific, non-transferable, and candidates can list two district preferences for posting.
- No TA/DA is admissible for tests/interviews.
- Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Body employees should apply through the proper channel.
- Any submission of false documents or concealment of facts will lead to disqualification.
- Only degrees from HEC-recognized institutions (or HEC-equivalent foreign degrees) are acceptable.
- Only short-listed candidates will be invited for an interview, with communication via email/call/SMS.
- The number of vacancies is subject to change.
- The Department holds the right to cancel the recruitment process or reject applications without assigning any reason.
Application Process
Interested candidates should adhere to the following application procedure:1. Apply online through the National Testing Service (NTS) website: www.nts.org.pk.
2. Candidates for 'Monitoring Assistant' can submit only 2 preferences of Districts (for posting).
3. After online submission, the duly filled-in Application Form (online printout), original NTS fee deposit slip, a copy of CNIC, and two recent passport-size photographs must be sent via courier to NTS headquarters (address provided on application form).
4. The test fee is payable via 1 Link 1 Bill Participating Banks/ATM/Internet Banking/Mobile Banking/Easy Paisa/Jazz Cash/TCS Express Counters, using the 20-digit invoice number from the fee slip. Only one bill invoice payment is accepted.
5. All applications must be completed in full and reach NTS by 20th June, 2025.
6. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
7. NTS will communicate the date of the written test/skill test to eligible/shortlisted candidates.
8. Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in the NTS test to qualify.
