Microbiologist

Role Overview

A contract position for a Microbiologist is available under the Public Health Laboratories Network (PHLN) initiative, specifically for deployment in Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK). The role involves overseeing microbiological testing, research, and potentially managing laboratory activities within the PHLN framework in AJK. Preference will be given to residents of AJK.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: MBBS or equivalent qualification.
Post-graduation: Post-graduate degree in Epidemiology, OR Epidemiology and Biostatistics, OR Public Health with majors in Microbiology.
Registration: Must be registered with the relevant professional council.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of work experience after completing the Master's degree, demonstrating progressively responsible roles in Microbiology management, research, and technical expertise. Extensive experience in independently designing, conducting, presenting, and disseminating microbiological studies involving advanced statistical analyses is required.

Age Limit and Pay Scale

Applicants should be between 30 and 40 years old. The position is offered at Project Pay Scale (PPS) 8.
