Job Overview

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Directorate of Social Welfare, Special Education & Women Empowerment, is seeking a qualified Medical Officer (BPS-17) for a position based in Peshawar. This role is offered on a Fix Pay Basis under the ADP Scheme titled 'Establishment of Hospice Care and Senior Citizens Centre in Peshawar'. The contract period is up to 30-06-2026. This is an opportunity to contribute to social welfare initiatives within a government framework.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess an MBBS degree recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) and hold valid PMDC registration for initial recruitment.
A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant field is required.
The age limit for applicants is between 25 and 32 years.

Application Process

Interested candidates fulfilling the criteria should apply online through the Education Testing Evaluation Authority (ETEA) website.
Steps to Apply:
1. Visit the ETEA website: www.etea.edu.pk.
2. Complete the online application form.
3. After submission, a prescribed UBL online deposit slip (containing token number, project code, and personal information) will be generated.
4. Print the deposit slip and deposit the prescribed test fee (non-refundable) at any branch of UBL Bank, UBL OMNI agent, Easy Paisa App, or agent.
5. Keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) with the bank stamp safe. Do not share it.
6. Do not send any documents to the ETEA office at this stage. Copies of testimonials/documents will be required from candidates who qualify the screening test, as and when requested by ETEA or the Appointing Authority.
7. Online application forms will be available from 27-04-2025.
8. The last date for submission of the online application is 12-05-2025.
9. Candidates will be informed via SMS through ETEA to download and print their Roll No. Slips from the ETEA website.
10. Test date, time, and venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip.
11. No separate Call Letter will be issued for the screening test through postal/courier means.

Important Terms and Conditions

Applications are processed provisionally. Final selection depends on scrutiny by the appointing authority.
Shortlisting is based on the ETEA screening test.
Interview calls are issued only to shortlisted candidates.
Candidates must be eligible in all respects by the application closing date.
Government/Semi-Government employees should apply through the proper channel.
Apply separately with a separate fee for each post if interested in multiple positions.
No TA/DA is admissible for the test/interview.
Equivalent certificates from HEC are required for foreign degrees.
