Job Overview

Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore, is looking for qualified individuals for the post of Mechanical Technician/ Skilled Welder. This position is offered on a contract basis for one year, extendable upon satisfactory performance, as part of the Project Director/Replacement of AC Plants.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves performing welding tasks, specifically electrical and gas welding, within a reputed organization or government setup. The candidate will contribute to the maintenance and repair works related to the project.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess a One Year Diploma in Welding Engineer from any recognized Institute of Technical Education affiliated/registered with relevant Board of Technical Education in Second Division. A minimum of three (03) years of experience in welding of Electrical & Gas in reputed organization / Government Organization in Pakistan or abroad is essential. Only those experience(s) will be consider which are obtained after the required qualification.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 30 years. This figure includes any age relaxation that may be applicable, according to the general recruitment conditions (point iv).

Salary and Benefits

The remuneration for this position will be according to Project Pay Scale (PPS-02), which is equivalent to BS-06, based on the standard pay package from the Finance Division.
