Job Overview

Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore, invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Electrical Technician/ Mistry Wireman on a contract basis. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance. This role is crucial for the Project Director/Replacement of AC Plants initiative.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC units and related electrical systems. This includes troubleshooting electrical faults and ensuring efficient operation of equipment within reputed government or private organizations, potentially including work abroad.

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess a One / Two Years (02/01) Diploma in Electrical or Refrigerator technology from a recognized Institute of Technical Education, affiliated / registered with a relevant Board of Technical Education, achieving a Second Division. A minimum of five (05) years of hands-on experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC units in a reputed organization / Government Organization in Pakistan or abroad is mandatory. Only those experience(s) will be considered which are obtained after the required qualification.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for this position is 35 years. As per general conditions (point iv), any applicable age relaxation is already included in this limit.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidate will be offered a salary package as per Project Pay Scale (PPS-04), which is equivalent to BS-12, in accordance with the standard pay package issued by the Finance Division.
