Role Overview
The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training & Assessment Authority (PECTAA), an initiative of the School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the position of Managing Director (Operations). This is a key leadership role offered on a contract basis for three (3) years at the MPS-I pay scale. The Managing Director (Operations) will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of the Authority to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in achieving its mandate.Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all operational functions of PECTAA.
- Develop, implement, and refine operational policies, procedures, and strategies to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and allocate resources, including budget, personnel, and infrastructure related to operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal organizational standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster innovation within operational activities.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of PECTAA's objectives.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:PhD or MPhil/MS or Master's/BS (16 years education, at least 2nd Division or 2.5 CGPA) in Public Policy/Administration, Business Administration, Management, Educational Leadership & Planning, Economics or any other relevant field from a well-reputed international or national institute duly recognized by HEC.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years (after Master's/BS) of administrative experience in a public/private sector organization.
- Minimum 7 years (after MPhil/MS) of administrative experience in a public/private sector organization.
- Minimum 5 years (after PhD) of administrative experience in a public/private sector organization.
35 - 55 years.
