About the Job

The University of Management and Technology (UMT) is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Manager Resource Planning under the Office of Planning & Development (OPD). This role is crucial for ensuring efficient infrastructure and workforce planning across the institution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead in planning and developing infrastructure and human resource requirements for Schools, Institutes, and administrative offices.
Develop and maintain short-term and long-term infrastructure plans.
Maintain organizational structures across the University.
Coordinate with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines.
Plan and allocate space requirements to stakeholders.
Optimize the utilization of classrooms, human resources, and other institutional facilities.
Monitor and improve the efficiency of available resources.
Prepare workforce assessment reports and resource planning analytics for senior management.
Gather, analyse, and present statistical data related to demographics, occupancy rates, and land utilization.
Supervise resource planning activities for OPD projects.
Develop layout plans for small scale projects.
Coordinate with external architects to finalize the requirements.

Requirements and Competencies

Education: Master's degree from an HEC-recognized university or an equivalent qualification from a reputable foreign university.
Experience: 10-12 years of relevant experience in resource planning, infrastructure planning, workforce planning, or a related field.
Required Competencies:

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and relationship management abilities.
Conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in resource planning and workforce assessment.
Ability to handle technical planning and resource optimization assignments.
