About the Role

The Manager (Finance & Admin) will be a key member of the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the Punjab Development Program. This position involves managing the financial health and administrative operations of the project, which aims to improve urban infrastructure, specifically sewerage and storm water drainage systems, across 8 cities in Punjab. The role requires meticulous financial oversight and efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning and strategic success of the PMU.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial transactions, budgeting processes, and financial reporting for the project, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
  • Manage comprehensive administrative functions, including efficient office management, systematic record-keeping, and essential logistical support for the team.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine financial and administrative policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide crucial financial insights and administrative support to the Project Director and other team members, aiding in strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess 16 years of education (equivalent to a Bachelor's or Master's degree) in Business Administration, Accounts, or Finance from a recognized institution. A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant financial and administrative sector is mandatory. The maximum age limit for this position is 55 years, making it ideal for seasoned professionals seeking a challenging role.
