Manager Biomedical Engineering

Role Overview

As the Manager of Biomedical Engineering, you will lead the department responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and management of all medical equipment within the hospital. This includes equipment in operating units, intensive care, clinical labs, and other diagnostic units. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring the safety, efficacy, and readiness of all medical technology, contributing directly to patient care and safety.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this role:

• Qualification: BE/BSc in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Bio-Medical Engineering (16 years of education) from a recognized institute. The degree must be recognized by the PEC, and the applicant must have a valid PEC registration.
• Experience: A minimum of 05 years of post-qualification relevant experience in a reputed hospital is required. This must include either 01 year of experience at the HoD/Managerial level OR 03 years of experience at the Assistant Manager/Assistant Engineer level.
• Preference: Preference will be given to applicants who are fully conversant with all patient care and medical equipment and have hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
