Chief Technical Officer

Position Overview

PESCO is seeking an experienced Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to oversee all technical aspects of the company's operations. Reporting to the CEO, the CTO will be responsible for transmission and distribution planning, system design, demand forecasting, contract management, and project execution. The initial term is three years.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include managing technical teams, ensuring operational efficiency, overseeing major projects, and staying abreast of technological advancements in the power sector.

Qualification & Experience

• 16-year Degree in electrical engineering or a related field from a local/foreign university recognized by HEC and professional registration (Pakistan Engineering Council) if applicable.
• Minimum 15 years of post-qualification relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management position.
• Excellent Data Analytics, Data Driven Decision Making and Problem-Solving skills.
• Thorough knowledge and experience of Transmission and Distribution Planning and systems design.
• In-depth knowledge of demand forecast and Contract Management.
• In-depth knowledge of electricity market, tariffs and consumer affairs.
• Knowledge and experience of Project Management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Upper age limit of 57 years.

3. Mention the post applied for ('Chief Technical Officer') on the top center of the cover letter.
4. Submit the application along with the following documents: Copies of degrees/testimonials verified by HEC/relevant body, detailed CV with two recent passport-size photographs, attested copies of CNIC and experience documents, two work references and two personal references, and a declaration on non-judicial stamp paper (duly attested) affirming eligibility as per relevant laws.
5. Candidates currently in government service should apply through the proper channel.
